A Focused Short-Video Transcript Tool
ReelToText turns one public Instagram Reel, YouTube Short or TikTok video into editable text and timed caption files. It exists for people who need the spoken words without recording a screen, uploading a duplicate media file or typing every sentence by hand.
What ReelToText Builds
The service validates each supported link, retrieves temporary media or captions through configured providers, creates a transcript and returns TXT, SRT and WebVTT exports. The surrounding guides explain link formats, accuracy limits, privacy choices and practical transcript workflows.
ReelToText does not operate a public archive of source videos. Regular transcript cache entries expire after 72 hours, and source audio is not written to ReelToText application storage.

ReelToText is an independent web service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, Google, TikTok or ByteDance. Product and company names belong to their respective owners.
Responsible Use
Public availability does not remove copyright, privacy or publicity rights. Users must have a lawful reason to process each submitted link and should review important transcript text against the original video.
