Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using ReelToText, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

ReelToText converts audio from one publicly accessible Instagram Reel, YouTube Short or TikTok video per request into text. The designated cached demo is available without sign-in and never starts new provider processing when its cache is unavailable. Submitting your own video requires a signed-in account. Free accounts using welcome Credits may process videos up to three minutes. Active Pro and Max members may process videos up to ten minutes. Profiles, collection pages, playlists, Stories, private videos and batch input are not supported. Available outputs may include plain text, SRT subtitles and VTT captions.

New verified accounts may receive five one-time welcome Credits. These Credits are not replenished daily. After using them, a free account must subscribe to Pro or Max to continue. Additional one-time Credit packs are available only to accounts with an active Pro or Max membership. We may adjust limits, pricing or available features with reasonable notice.

Public Content and Your Responsibility

You may submit only content that is publicly accessible and that you own, are authorized to process or otherwise have a lawful reason to use. You are responsible for respecting copyright, privacy, publicity and other rights.

ReelToText does not grant you ownership of the source video or permission to republish another person’s content. A transcript may still be protected by copyright or other laws.

Prohibited Uses

You must not:

• Attempt to access private platform accounts or bypass access controls.
• Use ReelToText to infringe copyright, privacy or other legal rights.
• Submit unlawful, harmful or malicious material.
• Circumvent rate limits or interfere with the service.
• Reverse engineer, overload or probe the service without written authorization.
• Represent an automatically generated transcript as verified when accuracy matters.

Accuracy

AI transcription can contain errors, especially with background music, multiple speakers, uncommon names, accents or poor audio. Review transcripts before using them for publication, research, legal, medical or other consequential purposes.

Temporary Processing

ReelToText does not persist source media in its application database. Extracted audio is held temporarily in server memory while the request is processed. Extraction providers may temporarily store generated media files under their own retention policies. Apify and OpenRouter process submitted links or audio under their own terms.

Availability

Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Apify, OpenRouter and hosting providers are independent services. Changes, access restrictions or interruptions at those providers may affect ReelToText. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or a particular processing time.

Advertising

ReelToText may display clearly identified third-party advertising on content pages after the advertising account and site are approved. Advertising must not obstruct the transcript tool, navigation or page content. Do not click ads to support ReelToText, and do not use automated or deceptive methods to create ad impressions or clicks.

Intellectual Property and Complaints

ReelToText’s software, branding and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Copyright complaints can be submitted under our DMCA policy.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as available without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law. ReelToText is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the service or reliance on a transcript.
